The former girlfriend of Manchester United and Brazil forward Antony will reportedly hold a formal interview with Greater Manchester Police on Thursday.
Gabriela Cavallin has accused the 23-year-old of attacking her on four separate occasions, with two of the alleged incidents said to have taken place in the United Kingdom.
Antony was given a leave of absence by Man United last month to deal with the allegations, with the Brazilian denying all of the accusations from his ex-partner.
Sao Paulo Civil Police are also conducting their own investigations, but he was recently given permission to leave his home country in order to return to Manchester.
Antony is said to have been questioned for five hours by police on his return to the United Kingdom, and he has featured in his side's last two matches against Galatasaray and Brentford.
According to the Daily Mail, Cavallin has flown to Manchester from Brazil and will now meet with Greater Manchester Police on Thursday for a formal interview.
Antony has not been arrested or charged, while it is understood that he is fully co-operating with the police in both countries as he bids to clear his name.
The forward has said that his relationship with Cavallin was "tumultuous" but has firmly denied that he ever physically assaulted her.
Cavallin recently said that Antony should not be allowed to continue playing while the alleged incidents are being investigated.
"Antony needs to be taken off the pitch. It's disappointing he's still allowed to play while there's an investigation," she told The Sun last month.
"I am absolutely destroyed by the whole process. How can life go on as normal for him? They can't just know what they know now and not do anything. He needs to be removed. I will do everything in my power.
"I will not give up. People need to be held accountable. It doesn't matter what profession or how famous someone might be. If they took action against his teammate (Mason Greenwood), I don't see why Antony should be treated differently."
In the most serious of the alleged incidents, Cavallin has claimed that Antony assaulted her in a Manchester hotel room in January of this year, which caused her to suffer a cut to her head and damage a breast implant.
Antony made the move to Old Trafford from Ajax in August 2022, and he has represented the Red Devils on 50 occasions, scoring eight goals and registering three assists in the process. body check tags ::
