Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has hinted at his disappointment as the Old Trafford club were unable to find a way past Manchester City in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal's charges dominated much of the Manchester derby and might have found a winner had Jesse Lingard not seen his effort come back off the crossbar in the second half.
"It is a bit of a disappointment but I feel like we played well over the 90 minutes," said Smalling, according to BBC Sport.
"It's one of those. If we can play like that on a regular basis we will win more than we lose."
United hold fourth spot in the league standings, level on points with third-placed West Ham United.
