Jonny Evans has claimed that the players are finally getting the hang of Louis van Gaal's methods at Manchester United.
The United boss initially claimed it would take three months before his charges adapted fully, and the Dutchman has insisted on playing a three-man defence at times this term.
However, Evans thinks that the squad are now fully aware of how their manager wants them to play.
The Northern Irishman told The Express: "The lads have had to take a lot on board. At times, you know, it has been tough and it takes time.
"We've been used to playing a certain way for a number of years then the change happens and the new manager wants us to play a certain
way.
"It takes time for those things to become second nature but I think you are starting to see that now."
United are currently third in the Premier League.
