Manchester United defender Jonny Evans believes that Luke Shaw will become the "best" left-back in the world.
The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils in the summer in a £27m move from Southampton, and Evans feels that after seeing the England international up close there is no doubt he will quickly assert himself as the top player in his position.
The Northern Ireland international also feels that the club have a top-quality defender in Marcos Rojo following his excellent World Cup for Argentina.
Evans told the club's official website: "Looking at our new defenders, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw, I've been really impressed.
"I watched Marcos at the World Cup and thought he was excellent for Argentina whether he played at left-back or left wing-back, and he can play centre-back too.
"I had the chance to work with Luke in pre-season and there is no doubt he is going to be the best left-back in the world."
United are next in action in the Premier League on Sunday against Leicester City.
