Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher could return to first-team action at the end of next month, according to a report.
The 29-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since January, when he went under the knife in a bid to cure a chronic bowel condition. His illness has restricted him to just 19 appearances in two years.
However, Goal.com reports that the Scottish international could soon be back after impressing manager David Moyes since resuming light training.
However, his substantial weight loss is believed to have the 50-year-old boss wary of throwing him back into the mix before he is ready.
