Manchester United duo Darron Gibson and Rafael have both made significant steps back towards full fitness after lengthy injury absences.
Both players played the full 90 minutes of United's reserves' win over Wigan Athletic on Thursday evening.
Gibson, 23, has been out of action since the start of the season after he damaged ankle ligaments in training.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Rafael has not featured this term after a should injury that he also picked up in training.
