Ryan Giggs has suggested that Manchester United's supporters will be pleased with the goalless draw away at Liverpool, as long as the team show more ambition against Fenerbahce and Chelsea.
In a game of few chances, two outstanding saves from goalkeeper David de Gea ensured that United left Merseyside with a point but while Giggs was pleased with how his former side performed at Anfield, he wants to see more flair in the final third later in the week.
The 42-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Those tactics were 100% something United fans would accept at the moment. That's the climate we are in.
"You see the games that are coming up in Fenerbahce, Chelsea and City and if we lost, the pressure is on. You just don't lose but you have to go and win against Chelsea and Fenerbahce."
Ahead of Sunday's clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, United sit in seventh position in the table.
