Adam Johnson has said that "nothing has changed" in the race for the Premier League title after falling three points behind Manchester United.
The Manchester City midfielder insists that his side's destiny this season remains in their hands, since the league leaders have yet to make the trip to the Etihad Stadium this year.
"There's been a lot of talk about the title race and who will come out on top," he said. "But nothing has changed.
"If we can win all our games, we'll be champions. If we were four or five points behind Manchester United, it would be different. But that's not the case. We're one win behind."
The Citizens beat Sir Alex Ferguson's side 6-1 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture.
