Louis van Gaal has insisted that he is expecting a difficult test when Manchester United meet Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the League Cup.
United secured their progress in the competition with goals from Wayne Rooney, Andreas Pereira and Anthony Martial in a 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Wednesday night.
Van Gaal's side were rewarded with another tie against Championship opposition, but the Dutchman is fully aware of how tough the game will be for his players.
"It is one of the top clubs in the Championship so it is not so easy. I am very happy with the result," the United boss told MUTV.
"I am happy we are playing at home. We are travelling a lot so it is good to stay at home."
United return to Premier League action against Sunderland on Saturday.
