Manchester United have named their squad for the two upcoming friendlies with Cadiz and Real Betis.

The Red Devils are heading to Spain on a warm-weather training camp, as the team prepare for the return of competitive action after the 2022 World Cup.

The 20-time English champions will take on Cadiz in their first friendly on December 7 before facing more La Liga opposition in the shape of Real Betis on December 10.

Man United will then be back in competitive action against Burnley in the EFL Cup on December 21, before returning to Premier League duty on December 27 at home to Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils will spend one week in Spain before heading back to Carrington, where they will slowly be joined by the players who have been eliminated from the World Cup.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams have both had their injury problems this season, but the duo are named in the travelling party in a double fitness boost.

Anthony Martial is also among those included, with the France international bidding to put his injury problems behind him in the second half of the campaign.

David de Gea was left out of the Spain squad for the 2022 World Cup, and the club's number one goalkeeper is also in the travelling party for the two friendlies.

Alejandro Garnacho scored Man United's last goal, coming up with the winner against Fulham in the Premier League immediately before the season was halted.

There were suggestions that the attacker could be named in the Argentina squad for the World Cup, but he was ultimately left out by head coach Lionel Scaloni.

Victor Lindelof, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay and Anthony Elanga are also included, in addition to plenty of youngsters, namely Kobbie Mainoo, Charlie Savage, Zidane Iqbal and Charlie McNeill.

However, Axel Tuanzebe is still injured, while Jadon Sancho is "continuing his individual training programme as part of a process to get back to his highest level", according to Man United's official website.

Man United squad in full:

De Gea, Heaton, Bishop, Dubravka; Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Mengi, Bernard, Jurado, Hardley, Bennett, Oyedele, Murray, Fredricson; Van de Beek, McTominay, Savage, Iqbal, Hansen, Gore, Mainoo; Martial, Elanga, Shoretire, Garnacho, Hugill, McNeill, Emeran body check tags ::
