Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has admitted that he feels "enraged" by the team's failure to take maximum points from last weekend's stalemate against Newcastle United.
The Red Devils had eight shots on target, but they were unable to break the deadlock as they settled for a point in the goalless draw at Old Trafford.
Prior to that game, Louis van Gaal's side had executed 1-0 wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
In his weekly blog, Mata wrote: "The goalless draw against Newcastle last Saturday left us with a bad taste - personally I think we deserved to win but that doesn't count.
"From a personal point of view, I felt very comfortable and was able to participate a lot, but I went home enraged for not being able to win - same as my teammates. We need to win this kind of games if we want to be more consistent than last season."
United switch their attention to the Champions League this week as they try to build on their 3-1 advantage when they face Club Brugge in the second leg of their qualifier in Belgium.
