Manchester United striker Michael Owen has revealed that he has chosen Robin van Persie as his PFA Players' Player of the Year.
The Dutchman has scored 33 goals in all competition for Arsenal this season.
"Player of the season so far? We had to cast our votes earlier this week as well as our team of the year," Owen tweeted. "Not allowed to choose anyone from your own team. I went for Robin Van Persie. Stand out winner in my opinion."
Despite having never won the Players' award, Owen was named in the PFA Team of the Year in 1998.
