Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler believes that his side need striker Nick Powell firing on all cylinders if they are to reach the playoffs at the end of the season.
Powell, who is on loan from Manchester United, has missed 10 of the club's 39 matches during this campaign, but Rosler has revealed that the 19-year-old has started to struggle with a couple of "niggles" after failing to feature since January 28.
The 56-year-old told the Wigan Post: "We have players who will soon be able to play for a full 90 minutes. Obviously up front, we need our top scorer, Nick Powell, we miss him.
"For a 19-year-old, he has been tremendous for us this season. When I came, I saw that the kid has played a lot of football and obviously now everybody asks for a rest, and that is why he gets a rest in terms of he has a niggle here and a niggle there."
Wigan are currently four points off a playoff place in the Championship table.
