Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that he still has a "good relationship" with Jose Mourinho, despite being overlooked during their time together at Chelsea.
The Egypt international was used sparingly by Mourinho following his arrival at Stamford Bridge in January 2014, featuring just 19 times in his two years at the club.
Mourinho was no longer in charge of Chelsea when Salah eventually moved on, having been sent out on loan twice in between, and the 25-year-old - enjoying the form of his life for Liverpool this term - insists that there are no hard feelings between the pair.
"We talked at Chelsea when I first came back from the loan spell at Fiorentina," he told FourFourTwo. "We also spoke after the match against Man United this season and have a good relationship. We didn't talk much, but it was OK.
"Three years ago I didn't play much, but since day one back in England I wanted to show what I can do. I think I'm doing well."
Salah has netted 27 times for Liverpool in all competitions this term, 21 of which have come in the Premier League.
