Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has claimed that "smart" Anthony Martial has a "big future" ahead of him following his £36m move to Old Trafford.
The French forward became the most expensive teenager in the world when he signed for the Red Devils from Monaco on the final day of the transfer window last week.
The 19-year-old also made his senior debut for France in their 1-0 victory over Portugal on Friday.
"It's been some week for him, but he has been amazing," the Manchester Evening News quotes Schneiderlin as saying. "The way he has coped with this, we've all been so impressed. He has a smart head on his shoulders.
"We've been chatting a lot and he cannot wait to get started at Manchester United. He's a very good player, he has a big future ahead of him."
Martial could make his United debut in Saturday's clash against arch rivals Liverpool.
