Henrikh Mkhitaryan reportedly trained alone after he was left out of the Manchester United squad yet again at the weekend.
The Armenian international, who joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund for around £26m in the summer transfer window, has not featured since September 10.
The 27-year-old started United's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City last month, but was hauled off at half time and has not been used by manager Jose Mourinho since.
Mkhitaryan's absence has partly been down to a thigh injury that he picked up on international duty, but he was declared fit prior to United's Premier League clash against arch rivals Liverpool on October 17.
The attacker has been left out of Mourinho's last five matchday squads, and the manager claimed last week that his player needs time to build up fitness.
According to widespread reports in the British media, Mkhitaryan was spotted training alone at United's Aon Training Complex on Sunday, the day after he watched the team's goalless draw with Burnley from the stands at Old Trafford.
Mkhitaryan took to social media on Sunday to express his support to the team.
