Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that January arrival Amad Diallo could be involved for the first team in Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.
Diallo has been training with the first team since arriving at the club from Atalanta BC and scored twice on his debut for the Under-23s against Liverpool Under-23s.
The 18-year-old is yet to feature for the senior side, but the United manager has claimed that he could be involved at Old Trafford this weekend.
"We will make a decision on Amad in the week [on] what he does at the weekend – if he's in our squad. It depends on many factors, if we have injuries or COVID. You never know, but he might be playing on Friday [for the U23s] but yeah. I will make a decision on Thursday," Solskjaer told reporters.
Diallo made two first-team appearances for Atalanta in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign, including an outing in the group stages of the Champions League against FC Midtjylland.
United thumped Southampton 9-0 in the Premier League on Tuesday night to move level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table, although the Citizens have two games in hand.
