Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he is not getting too carried away by his successful start to management.
The 38-year-old, who guided Norwegian club Molde to their first ever league title last season, also believes that he learnt a lot during his spell as a Manchester United player.
"I had a great grounding in Manchester," he told BBC Sport. "If I hadn't learnt from Sir Alex Ferguson, I wouldn't learn from anyone.
"I think it's good taking it step by step and this is the first step. I never had massive ambitions as a manager.
"I'm going to go along and see if I enjoy it and do well. And if I do, better jobs will come."
Solskjaer spent 11 years at Old Trafford up until 2007.
