Manchester United wideman Antonio Valencia has revealed that he would be open to the prospect of playing in the centre of midfield later in his career.
Since he arrived in England with Wigan Athletic in 2006, the Ecuadorian has been used primarily as a winger, although on occasions at United he has also been deployed at right-back.
However, in the future, the 29-year-old has insisted that he would consider moving inside.
"Yes, I've played [in the centre] once or twice for United and also for Ecuador. Wherever you're asked to play, you have to perform with all your heart. The main thing is that you play well and the group is happy with your efforts," he told the club's official website.
Valencia has made 11 Premier League appearances this term, although he is yet to find the net.
