RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner scored his 26th Bundesliga goal of the season during his side's match against Fortuna Dusseldorf this evening.
The Germany international is understood to be on his way to Chelsea at the end of the campaign, with the Blues ready to trigger his £54m release clause in order to beat Liverpool and Manchester United to his signature.
Werner has enjoyed the most prolific campaign of his career and continued his fine scoring record with Leipzig's second goal against Dusseldorf.
The 24-year-old curled his finish into the top corner from inside the area to become the first German player to score 26 Bundesliga goals in a season since Mario Gomez for Bayern Munich in 2011-12.
