Ashley Young has insisted that securing wins towards in the end of the season will be "vitally important" for Manchester United.
Louis van Gaal's side bounced back from defeat to Swansea City with victory over Sunderland yesterday, sending them third in the Premier League table.
The winger told MUTV: "I think it's vitally important. I think it's the United way, picking up [lots of] points after the turn of the year.
"We know it's going to be a tough game on Wednesday away to Newcastle, we've always found it tough up there, but as long as we can play in the way we did [against Sunderland] and add to that, then I'm sure we can go on and get three points."
United travel to St James's Park on Wednesday evening.
