Manchester United are expected to be without the services of their two first-choice central defenders for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Raphael Varane has already been ruled out of the contest with a groin problem that he suffered while representing France over the international break, while Harry Maguire is unlikely to play due to a calf injury, despite returning to first-team training on Friday morning.
As a result, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly could start as the two centre-backs against the Foxes, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw operating in the full-back areas.
Fred and Edinson Cavani will also be unavailable due to international commitments, so Paul Pogba could drop back into midfield alongside Scott McTominay, allowing Jadon Sancho to start on the left, while Cristiano Ronaldo will return at the top end of the field.
There are not expected to be many surprises elsewhere, with Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes set to start, while David de Gea has been excellent this season and will continue between the sticks.
The Red Devils will also include Marcus Rashford in their squad for the first time this season, as the England international has returned to full training after recovering from a shoulder operation.
Amad Diallo is also back in training after recovering from a thigh problem and could make the bench.
Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo
