Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Watford.

Manchester United will continue their pursuit of fourth position in the Premier League table when they welcome struggling Watford to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are currently just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in England's top flight following a 2-0 success at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have been in action since then, though, playing out a 1-1 draw with Club Brugge in the first leg of their last-32 Europa League tie on Thursday.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the 20-time English champions could line up this weekend.

Out: Paul Pogba (ankle), Marcus Rashford (back), Lee Grant (unspecified)
Doubtful: Scott McTominay (knee), Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring), Eric Bailly (knock), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (fitness), Mason Greenwood (illness)

United will again be unable to call upon either Paul Pogba or Marcus Rashford through injury, but Lee Grant, who has undergone surgery on an unspecified issue, is the the team's only other confirmed absentee heading into Sunday's contest.

Indeed, Scott McTominay could return to the squad for the first time since December having recently stepped up his recovery from a knee injury, while Eric Bailly, who was impressive against Chelsea on Monday night, will be hoping to shake off a knock to feature.

Victor Lindelof played on Thursday after recovering from illness, though, and the Swede could again start alongside Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw at the back as part of a three-man defence.

Mason Greenwood missed out against Brugge on Thursday through illness but should return to the squad. The teenager is an option to start alongside Anthony Martial in attack, although Odion Ighalo is pushing to make the first XI having been involved off the bench in United's last two.

There is every chance that Ighalo could be handed a start against his former club as part of a 3-4-1-2 formation with Daniel James, Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira currently struggling for form.

Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and David de Gea were named on the bench on Thursday evening but will all return to the starting XI for this match.
