Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been given the green light to line up for the Red Devils in Sunday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The Portuguese playmaker has remarkably been sent off twice in the space of a week, firstly for a tackle on James Maddison in last weekend's 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur before receiving a second yellow for a high boot in Thursday's 3-3 Europa League draw with Porto.
However, Fernandes's three-game ban for the Premier League red card has been overturned, and his sending-off in the Europa League does not impact his availability for Premier League games, so he is fine to skipper the side in the West Midlands.
Erik ten Hag is still missing Leny Yoro (foot), Luke Shaw (calf) and Tyrell Malacia (knee), though, while Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount's knocks from the loss to Tottenham need assessing in the coming hours.
Marcus Rashford was also surprisingly taken off at the break on Thursday, despite a scintillating first-half performance, although Ten Hag confirmed that the Englishman's change was not due to injury.
As Alejandro Garnacho made his mark after coming on, the Englishman could join Rashford, Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee in the attacking quartet, as Amad Diallo accepts a place on the bench.
Mainoo did train before the draw with Porto, but Ten Hag may wish to avoid any unnecessary risks with the young Englishman, so Christian Eriksen could partner a refreshed Manuel Ugarte instead.
Neither Matthijs de Ligt nor Lisandro Martinez covered themselves in glory against Porto, and it would not be a surprise to see last-minute hero Harry Maguire replace the latter for this one.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Dalot; Eriksen, Ugarte; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Zirkzee
