Manchester United will be without three players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.

Luke Shaw is facing another painful spell on the sidelines after suffering a setback in his recovery from a muscle injury, while fellow defender Victor Lindelof is ruled out with a groin problem.

Jonny Evans was not in the matchday squad for Man United's 2-0 defeat away against Arsenal on Wednesday night due to an unspecified knock, and the experienced centre-back will also miss this weekend's match.

On a positive note, Ruben Amorim is able to welcome back Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo after they both served one-match suspensions in midweek, and the former is in contention to be recalled to the back three at the expense of either Harry Maguire or Noussair Mazraoui. Leny Yoro, meanwhile, is also in contention to start.

Tyrell Malacia was handed his first Premier League start in over 12 months on Wednesday, but he will likely make way for Amad Diallo to start at right wing-back, allowing Diogo Dalot to move over to the left flank.

Mainoo is set to battle with Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen for a start in centre-midfield, while captain Bruno Fernandes could be moved further forward where Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee - who scored two goals each in a 4-0 win over Everton last weekend - will be hoping to start after beginning as substitutes in midweek.
