Manchester United will be back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon, with the Red Devils preparing to make the trip to Anfield to take on rivals Liverpool.
The Red Devils have played three times since their last league match, which was a 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford on February 19.
Erik ten Hag's side beat Barcelona to progress to the last-16 stage of the Europa League, while they recorded a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final last weekend to secure the trophy.
Man United's strong form continued on Wednesday evening, with the team beating West Ham United 3-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Marcus Rashford was only a second-half substitute against West Ham, with Ten Hag taking the chance to rest the England international from the first whistle.
However, the 25-year-old, who has 25 goals and nine assists to his name at club level this term, is set to return to the starting team against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
With that in mind, Sports Mole takes a look at Rashford's record against the Reds.
Rashford has faced Liverpool on 14 occasions during his professional career, boasting a record of three wins, six draws and five defeats, scoring six goals and registering one assist.
As expected, the bulk of those matches have taken place in the Premier League, but Rashford has only won two of his previous 11 league fixtures against the Reds, drawing five and losing the other four, while he has netted five times against the Merseyside outfit in England's top flight.
Rashford has also tackled Liverpool in the Europa League, playing both legs of what proved to be a 3-1 defeat for the Red Devils in the last-16 stage of the 2015-16 competition.
Meanwhile, the Englishman scored and provided an assist in a 3-2 win for Man United in the fourth round of the FA Cup during the 2020-21 campaign.
Rashford's first-ever Premier League game against Liverpool actually came at Anfield in 2016, playing 77 minutes of what proved to be a goalless draw.
Arguably, the forward's best performance against the Reds came at Old Trafford during the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, when he scored a brace in a 2-1 success for the Red Devils.
Rashford was also on the scoresheet in Man United's 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford in the league earlier this season, with all five of his top-flight goals against the Merseyside club coming at home.
Indeed, the attacker has never scored a senior goal at Anfield, so he will be bidding to create some history during Sunday's huge contest between the two biggest teams in English football.
