Sports Mole rounds up all the latest transfer rumours and done deals concerning each of the Premier League clubs.

With the Premier League now underway, managers are now gaining more awareness as to which areas of their squads need improving.

Taking that into consideration, here, Sports Mole has rounded up all the biggest rumours and done deals concerning each of the 20 top flight clubs from the past week.

Arsenal

Arsene Wenger may have stated publicly that he has little interest in signing a striker, but privately, a report has claimed that he is closing in on the season-long loan addition of Napoli's Chile international Eduardo Vargas.

Greek defender Kostas Manolas is also thought to be on the verge of arriving at the Emirates Stadium, while former Gunners frontman Nicklas Bendtner has agreed a deal with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

Aston Villa

Paul Lambert has been proactive in the transfer market this summer and he continued to bolster his squad last week with the signing of Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez from Spanish club Elche.

In terms of departures, Lambert has expressed his desire to retain the services of skipper Ron Vlaar, but winger Aleksandar Tonev has been granted permission to link up with Celtic on loan.

Burnley

Manager Sean Dyche spoke a fortnight ago of his frustration at a lack of signings, but he will have been more positive recently following the arrival of full-back Stephen Ward from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

Dyche has also stated that he would like to add around three more players to his squad, although speculation surrounding the Turf Moor-based outfit is slightly thin on the ground at present.

Chelsea

Outgoings, rather than incomings, are expected to be on the agenda between now and the end of the season at Stamford Bridge. Victor Moses has joined Stoke on a season-long loan basis, while Atletico Madrid are thought to be keen on German international Andre Schurrle.

Another player thought to be heading for the exit door is English midfielder Josh McEachran, who tweeted that he is joining Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem. His Chelsea teammates Bertrand Traore and Wallace have already agreed loan moves at the GelreDome.

Crystal Palace

With Tony Pulis now gone, Palace's transfer plans are expected to be altered over the coming weeks. It's actually been reported that Pulis departed Selhurst Park because of a clash with the board over potential targets.

Even so, Martin Kelly has been recruited from Liverpool, while the likes of Wilfried Zaha, Serge Gnabry, George Friend and Steven N'Zonzi have all been linked with switches to Selhurst Park.

Everton

Roberto Martinez has secured the season-long loan services of Chelsea winger Christian Atsu, but the Everton manager has admitted that the Ghana international is unlikely to sign on at Goodison Park on a permanent basis.

Former Chelsea attacker Salomon Kalou is thought to be another target, but Celta Vigo striker Nolito has played down talk of a move to Merseyside.

Hull City

It came as a bit of surprise when Southampton lodged a £12m bid for Shane Long, but as Hull boss Steve Bruce has since conceded, it was too good ans offer to reject.

Attention has now turned to who will replace the Republic of Ireland international at the KC Stadium, with Man United centre-forward Danny Welbeck thought to be among the list of targets.

Leicester City

It may be an ambitious pursuit, but Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has insisted that he has not given up hope of signing former Argentina international Esteban Cambiasso, who is a free agent.

One player that is keen to remain at the King Power Stadium, though, is Chris Wood. The New Zealand international has recently held talks over a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but he does not want to leave his Premier League employers.

Liverpool

Few managers have been more active in the transfer market than Brendan Rodgers, who made his eighth signing of the summer over the weekend. Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno was the player, and he is believed to have cost around £12m.

With such a large number of arrivals, exits are also anticipated. Atletico Madrid are said to want Daniel Agger, while the likes of Lucas Leiva and Fabio Borini have been heavily linked with departures.

Manchester City

After plenty of speculation, Eliaquim Mangala finally completed his £32m switch from Porto to the Etihad Stadium last Monday. The centre-back is City's sixth signing of the summer and is expected to have concluded Manuel Pellegrini's business as far as additions are concerned.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva have all recently signed new contracts, but Matija Nastasic, Micah Richards, Scott Sinclair and John Guidetti have all been told that they are free to find themselves other clubs.

Manchester United

The opening day loss to Swansea is thought to have intensified Louis van Gaal's desire to add to his United squad before the transfer window closes. A £16m deal for Argentina international Marcos Rojo is said to be nearing completion, with winger Nani reportedly moving in the opposite direction to Sporting Lisbon.

A whole host of other names have been linked with moves to Old Trafford, including Angel di Maria, Arturo Vidal, Daley Blind, Mehdi Benatia and Fredy Guarin.

Newcastle United

Alan Pardew is known to be keen to bolster his attacking options at St James' Park, despite having made a number of additions already this summer. According to a report in Italy, an £8m bid has been submitted to Palermo for their striker Abel Hernandez.

Cheick Tiote may not be a Newcastle player for much longer, though, with Premier League rivals Arsenal said to be readying an offer for the Ivory Coast international.

Queens Park Rangers

The centre of midfield is rumoured to be the main area of the pitch that Harry Redknapp is eager to strengthen at Loftus Road, with former Arsenal, Chelsea and Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra said to be on his wishlist.

Former Swansea loanee Jonathan de Guzman is also thought to be close to joining the R's, but Nedum Onuoha and Adel Taarabt could be about to depart the club.

Southampton

So many players have left Southampton this summer and it appeared for a while that Morgan Schneiderlin was going to join them. However, manager Ronald Koeman has now revealed that the midfielder has had a change of heart, despite strong links with Tottenham.

Schneiderlin has recently been joined at the St Mary's Stadium by Shane Long from Hull, while Lazio midfielder Alvaro Gonzalez is also said to be a target of Koeman.

Stoke City

The Potters continued their summer transfer business by signing Victor Moses on a season-long loan basis from fellow Premier League side Chelsea on Saturday.

And with that, manager Mark Hughes has confirmed that he has no plans to enter the transfer market again. That doesn't mean that there will not be exits, though, with Jonathan Walters having recently hinted that he may need to leave the club to secure regular action elsewhere.

Sunderland

Winger Will Buckley became the seventh signing of the summer to arrive at the Stadium of Light on Thursday afternoon when he linked up with the Black Cats from Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion.

Gus Poyet's pursuit of Fabio Borini continues, with the Liverpool striker reportedly edging closer to a return to Wearside. Should the Italian sign on, it could spell the end of Connor Wickham's time at Sunderland, with West Ham said to be interested in the England Under-21 international's signature.

Swansea City

In the very near future it's expected that Swansea manager Garry Monk will have boosted his defensive options at the Liberty Stadium by signing Argentine centre-back Federico Fernandez from Napoli.

Having confirmed that the Fernandez deal was close, Monk then went on to reveal that he was looking to "add two or three players" to his squad before the window closes at the end of the month.

Tottenham Hotspur

A new centre-forward is said to be one of Mauricio Pochettino's major targets this summer, with the likes of Samuel Eto'o, Mattia Destro and Salomon Kalou all linked recently with the North Londoners.

Another player that is said to be of interest to Pochettino is Fredy Guarin, who plays for Inter Milan. One report has claimed that the Italian club would be willing to let the Colombian midfielder leave, but only if they receive Spurs striker Roberto Soldado in return.

West Bromwich Albion

West Brom head coach Alan Irvine has been busy this summer, with the likes of Craig Gardner and Brown Ideye arriving at the Hawthorns.

Nevertheless, that does not necessarily mean that Irvine is done with his spending. It's been widely reported that he would like to add at least one winger to his squad, with West Ham's Matt Jarvis the latest wideman to have been linked with the Baggies.

West Ham United

An offer is believed to have been lodged with Sunderland for Wickham, but once that was rejected, the Hammers are said to have ended their interest in the young centre-forward.

That school of belief was further enhanced when Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho arrived at Upton Park from French club FC Metz for £4.5m on Thursday evening. Sakho is West Ham's seventh signing of the summer and could well conclude their business for this transfer window.
