Romelu Lukaku's agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that he is working on a deal with Inter Milan as the striker edges closer to a move away from Manchester United.
The Belgium international is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after just two years at the club, having fallen behind Marcus Rashford in manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's pecking order.
Inter, now managed by Antonio Conte, are the favourites to sign Lukaku, but they are reportedly falling well short of United's asking price.
However, Pastorello has been in Italy this week and the 26-year-old's future is on the agenda.
Asked if Inter are trying to sign Lukaku this summer, Pastorello is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Yes, he's publicly expressed his plans and desires. We'll see what happens.
"Lukaku is a dream, a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible. It's not impossible and Inter is trying hard."
Lukaku scored 15 goals in 44 appearances for United last season.
