Agent Federico Pastorello has suggested that Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku came close to joining Juventus last summer.
Since leaving Manchester United for San Siro, Lukaku has contributed 23 goals from 35 appearances in all competitions.
However, Pastorello has claimed that the Belgium international could have been representing Juve if Paulo Dybala had reached an agreement with Manchester United.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Pastorello said: "Lukaku is wearing the Inter Milan shirt and not the Juventus one because Juventus didn't end up finding an agreement between Dybala and Manchester United.
"Juventus had done an incredible job in trying to get him. They have been the best club for its organisation, but also trophies won. Every season it wins something. Lukaku at Juventus would have made many people happy."
Dybala has since proven his worth in Turin, netting on 13 occasions and 34 appearances in all competitions.
