Barcelona full-back Alejandro Balde has commented on his future amid negotiations over a new contract.
The 19-year-old, whose current deal expires in June 2024, has made 16 appearances for the Catalan giants this season, contributing with three assists.
He also represented Spain at the 2022 World Cup, making four appearances in the competition, before his country were eliminated in the last 16.
While Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with showing an interest in Balde, a recent report indicated that he was close to agreeing a new five-year deal with Barcelona, which will contain a €500m (£436.4m) release clause.
Speaking about the contract talks, Balde told Que T'hi Jugues: "My agent is taking care of the negotiations. I always wanted and want to stay here, then you never know in the future."
Balde could feature for Barcelona when they return to La Liga action with a derby game against Espanyol on New Year's Eve.
