Real Madrid have turned down the chance to sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United, according to a report.
The Red Devils are allegedly looking to get the Chilean forward off their books as his £500,000-a-week wages are causing problems in negotiations with other players.
Sanchez has been a major flop since arriving at Old Trafford as part of a swap deal involving Henrik Mkhitaryan in January 2018, scoring just three Premier League goals in 29 appearances.
Don Balon suggests that Real are one of the clubs United contacted in their attempt to offload the 30-year-old, but Los Blancos were unwilling to hand over the £68.5m the Premier League side are after.
Zinedine Zidane is said to see no reason to add Sanchez to his squad as he will bring nothing extra to the forward line, and his Barcelona past will also not help when it comes to winning over supporters.
United are rumoured to be after PSV Eindhoven's Hirving Lozano as a replacement for Sanchez.
