Anderson focused on Manchester United future

Manchester United midfielder Anderson pours scorn on exit rumours, claiming that he is still enjoying life at Old Trafford despite reduced playing time.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has insisted that he remains happy with life at Old Trafford, despite being restricted to just five appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Anderson's last Premier League start came nearly two months ago in the 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion, with Red Devils boss David Moyes deciding to choose other options in a central area ever since.

The Brazilian international has been linked with a loan switch to Fulham in search of regular first-team football in recent weeks, but remains adamant that he has a future with Moyes at United and will fight to prove his worth.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "I have played only two games this season and I tried to do my very best for the team. But it is very hard when you only play a small part now and then.

"But I am not unhappy. I am enjoying it and I know I will be ready whenever the manager picks me. I haven't spoken to David Moyes about my situation because I think I have a good situation at the moment.

"I love this club and I have been here for over six years. I am only 25 years old and I have about seven years football left in me. I have time on my side and I am happy at Old Trafford."

Since swapping Porto for Manchester in 2007 Anderson has made more than 100 Premier League appearances, helping United claim four domestic titles and a Champions League crown.
