Arsenal have reportedly emerged as front-runners in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby, with Manchester United and Newcastle United also keen on the player.
The 23-year-old enjoyed another productive campaign for the Bundesliga side this term, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists as Xabi Alonso's men finished sixth in Germany's top flight.
Having joined Leverkusen from Paris Saint-Germain in June 2019, the Frenchman has featured in over 170 games for the BayArena club, netting 49 goals.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are now in pole position to secure the services of Diaby this summer, ahead of Premier League rivals Newcastle and Manchester United.
The report adds that Leverkusen are looking to earn £65m from the sale of the attacker, with his current deal in Germany set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Eddie Howe's Magpies are understood to have made the capture of Diaby a top priority in this transfer window, however the player reportedly does not favour a move to St James' Park.
Diaby is currently on duty with France as they face off against Gibraltar and Greece in Euro 2024 qualifiers, with the winger looking to add to his 10 senior caps for Les Bleus.
