Arsenal reportedly still hold an interest in signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer.

The 25-year-old was an important player for the Foxes during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven goals and registering five assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.

However, the Belgium international will soon be entering the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium and he is allegedly open to a move to the Gunners this summer.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tielemans will leave Leicester this summer and the midfielder is still one of Arsenal's primary midfield targets ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Romano adds that negotiations between Tielemans's representatives and the Gunners will take time and so an imminent transfer to the Emirates Stadium is not on the cards.

Furthermore, Arsenal could face competition for the former Monaco and Anderlecht midfielder as Romano claims that two other clubs are in the race to sign the Foxes star this summer.

Premier League trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all been credited with an interest in Tielemans in recent months.
