Arsenal have reportedly been told that they will not be able to sign Celtic defender Kieran Tierney for less than £25m.
The full-back, who has come through the club's academy system to make 170 appearances in the senior ranks, has been frequently linked with an eventual switch to the Premier League.
Manchester United have been suggested as a potential destination in the past, although it now appears that Arsenal are eager to add the 22-year-old to their first-team squad this summer.
However, according to The Mirror, Celtic are not prepared to accept anything less than £25m, a fee which could potentially prevent a deal from being completed.
Arsenal are said to have a limited budget, with the indication being that paying such a sum for Tierney would take up the majority of Unai Emery's transfer funds.
The Gunners are reportedly attempting to use out-of-favour Carl Jenkinson in any deal for Tierney.
