Gareth Bale has reportedly made it clear that he does not want to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, amid sustained interest from Premier League clubs.
The 29-year-old looked to be on his way out of the Bernabeu during the summer transfer window, despite netting twice for Los Blancos in their historic Champions League final win against Liverpool.
Former boss Zinedine Zidane was said to have pressured Real's hierarchy to cash in on Bale in order to generate cash to strengthen in other areas, with the club's failure to do so ultimately leading to the Frenchman's exit.
The Daily Star claims that the European champions are more open to offloading the ex-Tottenham Hotspur ace at the end of 2018-19, with Manchester United and Chelsea likely to be at the front of the queue to sign him.
Bale does not intend to leave the Spanish capital anytime soon, however, and he will apparently resist any attempt from the club to sell him.
