Gareth Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has insisted that his client wants to stay at Real Madrid for the rest of his life.
The Wales international, who moved to the Bernabeu from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent transfer windows.
Reports have suggested that Madrid are willing to sell due to the attacker's injury problems, which have limited him to just nine appearances this season.
Barnett, though, has claimed that Bale has no intention of leaving Spain for a return to the Premier League.
"He wants to play the rest of his life at Real Madrid," Barnett told Fichajes. "He loves Madrid, the city, life and he loves the club. Of course it hurts him when the people don't support him and they do with other players who aren't so good.
"It's crazy, this happens only in Spain and I don't understand it, fans should understand this and know how good he is."
Bale's world-record £85m fee was eclipsed by Paul Pogba (£89m) and Neymar (£200m).
