Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing Youri Tielemans next year but could struggle to acquire the Leicester City midfielder due to their financial problems.
Tielemans's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with a number of clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, thought to be showing an interest in the Belgium international.
The 24-year-old's current deal at the King Power Stadium is due to expire in June 2023, and the Foxes will seemingly struggle to keep hold of him amid the growing interest in his services.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are determined to sign the Belgian but will find it difficult to afford the £46m valuation set by the former English champions.
Ronald Koeman's side are said to be targeting a new central midfielder during the January transfer window, having missed out on Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.
Tielemans has been in strong form for Leicester at the start of the 2021-22 Premier League season, scoring twice and providing two assists in eight appearances.
