Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu has insisted that Andres Iniesta will sign a new long-term contract with the Spanish champions.
Reports have suggested that the Spanish international could look to depart the Camp Nou after becoming frustrated with contract negotiations.
However, Bartomeu has claimed that the experienced midfielder, whose current deal expires at the end of next season, will pen fresh terms.
"There will be no other outcome than his continuity at Barca. He's been here many years and still has more to offer yet," he told Onda Cero.
Manchester United had reportedly been preparing to move for the 29-year-old in January.
