Manchester United have agreed to loan forward out-of-favour forward Bebe to Portuguese side Rio Ave.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since his move from Guimaraes in 2010 and following his recovery from a knee injury, Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to allow the player to return to his home country.
Bebe said: "I'll give it everything while I'm here and try to help the team to continue occupying the places that they have been in the table.
"Obviously something went wrong in the last phase of my career, I had a serious injury which thankfully I have fully recovered well from."
Bebe has also had a spell at Besiktas since his £7.4m move to United.
