Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly both made contact with Bayer Leverkusen to register their interest in Edmond Tapsoba.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a strong 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring twice in 39 appearances in all competitions for his Bundesliga side.
Arsenal are believed to be keen on the defender, who joined Leverkusen from Vitoria Guimaraes in January 2020, but the Gunners could face serious competition for his signature.
According to Bild, Chelsea and Man United have enquired over the availability of the Burkina Faso international, with the duo both said to be in the market for new centre-backs.
Tapsoba has a contract at BayArena until June 2026, placing his German club in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
Leverkusen were thought to value the defender in the region of £52m, but a recent report claimed that he could cost as much as £60m.
