Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has claimed that the arrival of Robin van Persie from Arsenal will only make the club stronger.
It was confirmed by the Red Devils on Wednesday that they had agreed a deal with the Gunners for the 29-year-old striker.
"I don't know too much about it but obviously he's a great player and he'll only make us stronger," Cleverley told ITV.
Cleverley was speaking after England's 2-1 friendly win over Italy in Switzerland.
