Napoli forward Dries Mertens is reportedly determined to join Chelsea this summer.
The 33-year-old's contract in Naples is due to expire at the end of June, and it is widely thought that the Belgium international will seek pastures new after seven years at the club.
A recent report claimed that the attacker was 'interested' in moving to a London-based club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, and according to Corriere dello Sport, Mertens has his heart set on a switch to Chelsea.
The Belgian, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, has scored 121 goals in 311 appearances for his Serie A club in all competitions.
Mertens has once again enjoyed a productive campaign, meanwhile, finding the back of the net on 12 occasions in 29 appearances.
Chelsea are expected to lose Pedro and Willian this summer with both players in the final weeks of their contracts at Stamford Bridge.
