West Ham United are reportedly not currently considering signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka during this summer's transfer window despite the recent speculation.
Manchester United are believed to be willing to sell Wan-Bissaka for the right price during the current market, and West Ham have been heavily linked with his services.
A recent report claimed that the Hammers were advancing on a £15m deal for the ex-Crystal Palace youngster following positive discussions with Man United.
However, according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the defender is not currently viewed as a priority for the London club.
Plettenberg claims that the situation could change in the latter stages of the transfer window if Man United are willing to "lower their demands" for him.
West Ham 'not currently' pursuing Wan-Bissaka
Wan-Bissaka made the move to Old Trafford from Palace in 2019, and he has represented the 20-time English champions on 190 occasions in all competitions.
The 26-year-old was a key player for Man United during his first two seasons at Old Trafford, but he lost his starting role at right-back after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal as head coach.
Wan-Bissaka benefitted from Man United's injury problems to feature on 30 occasions during the 2023-24 campaign, including 22 outings in the Premier League.
However, heading into the new season, he will once again be behind Dalot for the right-back spot at Old Trafford, while Luke Shaw returned to fitness at Euro 2024.
Man United are still expected to sell Wan-Bissaka
Man United are believed to be considering signing a new left-back this summer due to their problems in that area, as Shaw's fitness issues are a concern.
Tyrell Malacia is back in individual training, but it is unclear when the Netherlands international could be available for selection after more than 12 months on the sidelines.
Palace have also been linked with a move for Wan-Bissaka, but it is unclear whether the Eagles are planning to make an offer for their former youngster.
Barcelona are also believed to be considering a move for the Man United defender if they are unable to secure a return for Manchester City's Joao Cancelo.
Wan-Bissaka is expected to be involved in Man United's second pre-season friendly of the summer against Scottish giants Rangers in Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon. body check tags ::
