Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao will reportedly return to parent club AS Monaco after today's Premier League match will Hull City.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has told the Colombian that he will not be offered a permanent contract after his loan agreement expires, according to The Telegraph.
United had the option to sign Falcao for £43.2m, but his goalscoring record of just four strikes in 26 appearances has apparently convinced the Dutchman to send him back to France.
Falcao's time at United has been blighted by the cruciate ligament injury that kept him out of the 2014 World Cup, with the forward unable to replicate the form that he displayed before he sustained it.
The report also claims that the player was earning £265,000 per week during his time at Old Trafford.
