Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Fenerbahce.
Ozil has less than a year remaining on his existing contract at the Emirates Stadium and although Arsenal will likely maintain an interest in extending that deal, the German international will soon be able to discuss terms with clubs from abroad.
According to Sporx, one of those teams could be Fenerbahce, who may soon have the funds to offer the playmaker a lucrative deal to move to Turkey.
Wealthy businessman Ali Koc is allegedly looking to become the club's new president, and it has been suggested that he would be interested in making Ozil his marquee signing.
The 28-year-old will not be short of offers as his contract approaches a conclusion, with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho also said to be keen on taking the former Real Madrid man to Old Trafford.
Ozil is yet to contribute a goal or assist in his five appearances for the Gunners this season.
