Brazil midfielder Fred has reportedly arrived at Carrington ahead of his £52m move to Manchester United.
The 25-year-old, who featured in Brazil's 2-0 win over Croatia at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, is set to become Jose Mourinho's first signing of this summer's transfer window.
Manchester City had previously been strongly linked with a move for the Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder, but United have now seemingly won the race, and a medical will be completed at the club's Carrington complex ahead of an announcement.
Fred will reportedly sign a four-year contract with the Red Devils, who are also believed to be on the verge of completing a deal for Porto defender Diogo Dalot.
Fred, who will represent Brazil at the 2018 World Cup, scored four times and registered seven assists in 37 appearances for Shakhtar during the 2017-18 campaign.
