Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has laughed off speculation that he will make a loan bid for Manchester United starlet Wilfried Zaha.
It has been reported that the 20-year-old will be allowed to leave Old Trafford on a short-term basis in January in order to gain more first-team experience.
When asked if he is preparing a move, Freedman joked: "He's coming into the building right now, doing his medicals and we're signing him permanently.
"People gossip and things get out - but they are putting two and two together because I had him at Crystal Palace.
"There has been no contact between me and David Moyes on Zaha and no contact between me and the chairman on bringing Zaha here."
The Trotters are 12th after 11 games in the Championship.
