Huddersfield Town have reportedly prepared themselves to miss out on signing Manchester United defender Michael Keane on loan.
The 21-year-old has spent plenty of time in the Championship over the past two seasons on loan at Leicester City, Derby County and most recently Blackburn Rovers, where he started 13 games and scored three goals towards the end of last season.
Despite being admirers of the Manchester United man, Huddersfield are believed to have accepted the fact that bigger clubs will also be in contention for his signature, according to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
The Terriers have signed two new players so far this summer, landing goalkeeper Joe Murphy and defender Lee Peltier.
