Inter Milan are reportedly the favourites to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali this summer.
The 19-year-old has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing one goal and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
The teenager is expected to leave Diego Lopez's side during this summer's transfer window, and a number of clubs - including Manchester United and Juventus - have been linked with his services.
Liverpool are also believed to be firmly in the hunt for the midfielder, but according to Sport Mediaset, Inter are ahead of the Merseyside giants when it comes to the race to complete a deal.
The report claims that Antonio Conte's side have already offered €40m (£35m) for the youngster and are confident of beating a number of clubs to his signature ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Tonali was handed the first of his three Italy caps against Liechtenstein in October 2019.
